Audits: Cybersecurity Audit Overview

Accessing and using the Secure Schools Self-Evaluation Form for your Cybersecurity Audit

If your school or group is looking for an easy way to review your cybersecurity stance, we have made our self-assessed audit part of the platform. You can add this module to your subscription and work through the audit at a time that suits your team. This is a fantastic step in helping schools understand their cybersecurity position in an easy-to-understand, self-managed, and accessible way.

About the Secure Schools audit

The Secure Schools audit represents an appropriate level of cybersecurity for UK schools and trusts. It has been developed to include the latest expectations from the DfE and ESFA, guidance from the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and Cyber Essentials and IASME Cyber Assurance standards.

The assessment asks a series of questions that your organisation answers and reviews.

The Secure Schools team then produces an easy-to-follow report with recommendations. The report highlights risks and a priority order for dealing with them.
